Our friends at Western Watersheds Project shot these photos as a storm hit Spring Valley and Wheeler Peak in Great Basin National Park to the east. This valley is the site of a proposed large wind farm that would decimate the wild remote character of the area, fragment sagebrush and winterfat shrub habitats, and threaten birdlife.
